This is the introduction video to me and Abbey’s channel!
As most of our followers know, Abbey and I are best friends. However, we’ve never met in person. But! In 34 days, I am flying to California so we can be rightfully united! This video explains everything.
The gist is that in these weeks remaining until we meet, we will be participating in a Scavenger Hunt. It’ll be broken up into rounds, and we’ll have to complete/film/upload three challenges each week. I hope you guys watch it and subscribe and stuff! It’s going to be pretty fun. I’m posting the first video tomorrow (even though the challenge doesn’t start until Friday… I’m eager, I guess?).

My DAAAAAAAAAAD drives me nuts sometimes.
Okay, so he gives me money every month as long as I’m in school so I can be fulltime and not work and still support myself. He pays me on the 1st and the 15th.
This is very nice of him.
Unfortunately, he has never once actually paid me on the 1st or the 15th. I usually have to remind him. This was meant to be merely a transfer of the child support he’s paid my mom and my sister for the last 50595958 years, so it really should be on time. Because the purpose of it is so that I can rely on it for my financial needs. I feel awkward nagging him or anything because he’s doing me a really nice favor, buut if I can’t come to rely on it at a specific time, then that sort of defeats the purpose.
I usually let it go when he’s late because I have limited things to worry about financially and it’s not the end of the world. However, I just moved home and I have a shitton of stuff to pay for. Primarily, Cammie really needs $107 dollars from me as the deposit on my bridesmaid dress so she can pay her credit card bill.
I messaged him two days ago and asked if he could try to pay me right on the 15th so Cammie could deposit my check and pay her bill.
Just this once.
I was super polite. Grateful. Pleasant. Not demanding.
He said, “Sure, no problem.”
It is the 15th.
There is no money in my account.
It’s a good thing Cammie didn’t cash that check or it woulda booooooounced.
